A lot of people are struggling right now, and I am not talking about missing decorations, fewer gatherings, or the commercial version of Christmas that never really delivered peace anyway.
I am talking about something deeper.
The felt sense of Peace.
Love that is steady, not conditional.
Kindness that includes yourself.
A quiet inner warmth that used to show up naturally this time of year.
For many, that energy feels hard to access. Not because something is “wrong” with them, but because the world itself has changed, and the old ways of moving through it no longer work.
What does work now requires a different relationship with yourself.
Extreme Self-Care Is Not a Luxury Anymore
I am seeing it clearly, both in my practice and everywhere online. People are tired in a way sleep does not fix. They are fed up in a way distraction cannot soothe.
Complacency.
Low-grade depression.
Relationship strain.
Chronic illness or unresolved symptoms.
A lack of motivation and inspiration that feels unfamiliar and frightening.
Many are asking, What happened to my life?
Others are quietly wondering if this is all there is now.
I understand this place well. I have lived through enough cycles to recognize where people are getting stuck, and why the suffering feels sharper than it used to.
This is not about weakness.
It is about misalignment.
The Old Ways No Longer Hold
The world is moving forward, whether we like it or not. The inner and outer frequencies have shifted, and many are still trying to live by rules, beliefs, and coping strategies that belonged to another time.
When you are not aligned, you feel resistance.
When you are in resistance, life tightens.
Joy fades. Well-being becomes harder to reach.
Effort increases while fulfillment decreases.
People keep trying to fix this with outdated methods, pushing harder, numbing more, or blaming themselves. It does not work anymore.
And it will not start working again.
There Is a New Way
What I see, and what I teach, is that there is a way to live in this unfolding world that is calmer, clearer, and deeply supportive. Not perfect, but sustainable. Not bypassing reality, but meeting it with strength and grace.
It is not about forcing positivity.
It is about remembering truth.
Most people have lost touch with three essential things:
Remember who you are at a core level, beyond roles and conditioning.
Recognize your purpose, not as pressure, but as orientation.
Reconnect to your higher power and intuition, however you understand that connection.
When these are missing, the world feels hostile and overwhelming. When they are present, even difficult seasons become navigable.
If This Speaks to You
If you feel out of sync.
If the season feels heavy instead of hopeful.
If you sense that something new is being asked of you, but you do not know how to meet it yet.
Please know this. You do not have to suffer your way through change.
Reach out. Seek support. Learn how to move with what is emerging instead of fighting it.
The dark-before-the-dawn moment is real, but dawn does come.
I have seen it. I have lived it. I walk others toward it every day.
A Blessing for This Season
May you give yourself kindness you have never allowed before.
May you rest without guilt.
May you stop trying to survive what is actually inviting you to evolve.
May you bless yourself, gently and fully, right where you are.
With love and compassion,
Judy K. Martene
