I am reminded of how blessed I am as I looked out the french doors at this amazing picture this morning. I am smack dab in the middle of town, yet I have the peace, tranquility of a babbling brook complete with the beautiful songs of the birds that awaken me early every morning. The red male cardinal is always the first with his strong, distinct song beckoning me to wake with a smile. I am also reminded that I have always been truly blessed. Continue reading →

2 years ago yesterday I was handed the keys to my new house. My house, in my name, my mortgage, my deed, my property, my keys. As I unlocked the front door and stepped inside I felt a surge of gratitude at how far I had come in less than a year and how I hadn’t let all the devastating things that had happen to me take me down. I stepped over the threshold, claimed the house as mine and as I closed the front Continue reading →

In this particular time and space, in our world as we know it, I see all around me, people moving through live as robots. I witness people living in an automatic state of being. Some are repeating the same day over and over, just like the movie, Ground Hog Day. They are living their lives in a robotic way, doing the same things day in and day out, and, most will probably never live their dreams and passions. I see this so clearly, because I Continue reading →

I have accepted the fact that I have a gift of being able to support and help others. Funny thing is once I accepted it and didn’t try to fight it I actually started to love using this gift. Is it not our inherit nature to reach out and support others? You would think so, wouldn’t you? Well, not if you look at the amount of people that are feeling so alone and isolated. You see I was once this person, feeling so alone and Continue reading →
The uncanny coincidence. The unlikely conjunction of events. The startling serendipity. This is what happens to me all the time…. Synchronicities are sometimes regarded as signs, and some people consciously use them to make decisions in life Synchronicity happens “out there”: against the odds, something in the Universe seems to swing into place to answer an inner need we have. Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner. To count as synchronicity, the Continue reading →
We must take FULL responsibility for our thoughts and actions. We must be accountable for our decisions. Do not play the blaming game. Today is the day you stop making excuses and take complete responsibility for all your thoughts and actions. You are were you are because of your past thoughts and actions and you now take full charge of all my thoughts and actions. You will come up to the plate and know that you are in charge!
I am so blessed…here is where I get to Create, and Write from all day. The gentle whisper of the poplar leaves as they float in the breeze, cicadas humming their song throughout the trees, the gentle soothing sounds of the waterfalls in the background, the intoxicating smell of freshly cut grass,…what more could a girl want? I sit out here often, its like going on vacation in my own home. This sanctuary is an incredible magical place for imagination and inspiration to manifest. There is Continue reading →
Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth. There is just a thin strip of muted pink left on the horizon as the sun settles for the evening. I hear the crackling of wood burning and I am loving the smell of musky smoke n’ pine needles from my childhood days at camp as my neighbours stoke a campfire. I hear the occasional bird chirping it’s last goodnights…and the blissful day comes to a close. I settle back into my fav chair and sigh, I have lived really well today, no regrets-only gratitude…..What Continue reading →
DO NOT give away your power to people: Take responsibility for your life. If things aren’t going as hoped in your life, re-examine your deepest beliefs and ‘swap’ limiting beliefs for ones that empower you.

Spiritual Benefits of Meditation The longer an individual practices meditation, the greater the likelihood that his or her goals and efforts will shift toward personal and spiritual growth.
